Zest Solutions are supporting Avery Healthcare group employees Fern Upton and Bret White complete a challenge of a lifetime as they gear-up to walk the Great Wall of China, all in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society.
Fern and Bret chose to raise awareness about this very challenging disease after experiencing first-hand the devastating affects it can have on residents and families through their roles at Avery’s Brampton View care home in Chapel Brampton.
To raise the maximum amount of funds possible a charity ball will take place at Brampton View on Friday the 25th May 2012 with ticket sales and raffle proceeds all going towards the total sum raised.
Zest have donated a very secretive high-tech prize into the raffle. Without giving too much away, it’s seen as the latest must-have tech gizmo amongst tech hungry consumers!
Mick Sheehan, managing director of Zest Solutions says: “Part of our work is help care homes operate through the use of technology. We will be donating a very special piece of technology into the raffle which we’re hoping will generate considerable interest and maximum funds. Sadly this technology cannot help residents or families deal or manage with the impact dementia can have but we hope it will encourage people to donate more to help The Alzheimer Society get closer to finding a cure.”
